Downloading a video usually takes a few seconds, but sometimes something gets stuck along the way: the link doesn't work, the file vanishes on your phone, the video arrives with no sound or it's too big for WhatsApp. This is where we've gathered a guide for each of those situations.

Before opening a guide, check these three things, which solve most cases:
- Is the video public? Only videos anyone can watch without logging in can be downloaded.
- Is the link the video's own link? Profile, album or photo links won't work.
- Did the download finish? Long HD videos can take a few minutes on a slow connection.
